The Apache Junction Rodeo is the only outdoor rodeo in Arizona. This two-day event takes place in August and features events like bull riding, barrel racing, team roping, steer wrestling, and a calf scramble. There are plenty of food vendors and activities to keep spectators entertained throughout the weekend.
